Compete with teams from across the globe to design a high-performance building with
innovative, real-world solutions!
The U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon Design Challenge, comprising 10 contests, challenges student teams to design highly efficient, low-carbon buildings powered by renewable energy. Engineering students of all disciplines who have a strong interest in sustainable design of high-performance, zero-energy/low carbon, renewable energy-powered buildings are invited to join the WVU Solar Decathlon Design Team.
This is a great opportunity for students to work on a really exciting and multidisciplinary
project (in collaboration with students from Italy – University of Rome “Tor Vergata”)
and compete with other teams around the globe. Join the 2023 Design Challenge to
imagine the residential and commercial buildings of the future!
